As announced earlier, Theme Artists have just released the Drupal 6 version of our first contributed, GPL licensed, Artists C01 theme. All theme features supported in Drupal 5 version of the theme are now supported in the Drupal 6 port of this, in Drupal community, widely accepted theme. The Drupal 6 theme version has been also contributed to the Drupal community and is free to download, either from the Theme Artists download section, or from Drupal.org. Since the look-and-feel of the Drupal 6 theme is essentially the same, as of the Drupal 5 theme, the existing theme live demo presentation is common for Drupal 5 and Drupal 6 theme versions. However, minor variations, due to the differences in Drupal 5 and Drupal 6 engine outputs, are possible.

The Theme Artists will continue to develop the top quality Drupal themes, both contributed and professional. The first professional Drupal 6 theme, which will be released in Q2, 2008, will also be released as professional Drupal 5 theme. For some time we will continue with practice to release themes for Drupal 5 and Drupal 6 versions, as long as there is a lot of interest for support of two major Drupal versions. All new Drupal 6 professional themes will be designed for Drupal 6 from the very beginning, and not ported from Drupal 5 themes.

Although even best Drupal themes, or other CMS's professional website templates, are usually not bug-free, and no one may represent themselves as making really bug-free website templates, we will try to deserve such an epithet from our users. Therefore, please do not hesitate to post any comments, suggestions or bug reports on this new Drupal 6 release of Artists C01 theme, and help us to achieve even better theme quality, which will help you make better webdesign.
